Silvano Coletti

Silvano Coletti is the social entrepreneur and business developer mainly focused in industrial ecology, renewable electricity production and waste management. He's based in Swizerland.
Experienced from the old tradition of his family that established an advisoring firm assisting world-class corporations, Silvano Coletti is today board member and founder of a number of green business initiatives.
In 2007, due to the extreme interest for EU feed-in tariffs and regulatory framework, partnering one of the largest european Utilities, he co-founded a wind power generation company with the scope to build and manage a large pipeline of projects in South of Italy.
Chelonia SA is the Swiss advisoring and investment firm focused on renewable energies and clean technologies today managed by Silvano Coletti. The company is entering EU markets with a number of innovative services in the field of project development and engineering.
Coletti references as entrepreneur and board member include Nomura International, A2A SpA, Pirelli group and United Nations working groups. As independent advisor, he participated several research, development and engineering projects included evaluation of new and emerging solid waste management technologies for New York City (Department of Sanitation) and feasibility study for implementation of the waste-to-energy program in the Great Area of Beirut in Lebanon.
Coletti is prolific promoter of social initiatives since 2001. During the period 2002-2007 he represented the pan-african NGO “InterAfrican Union for Human Rights” at the United Nations headquarter in New York City. On behalf of the pan-African NGO he participated the World Sustainable Summit, the hystorical event held in Johannesburg.
He’s the founder of WALO GLOBAL INC. not-for-profit start-up venture based in New York City. Coletti is building a large network of entrepreneurs and leader advisor interested to promote and foster high-talented young entrepreneur in developing Countries, mainly focused in clean technologies and industrial ecology.
Speaker and attendant at the most important world-class events including World Economic Forum, World Knowledge Forum, World Summit of Johannesburg, United Nations and Horasis.
Mr. Coletti is the recipient of a number of nominations and patronages.
