Platinum Award-Winning, Silent Night (2007) is a suspense/horror film directed by Rainier See and written by Kevin Caramancion, Anthony Veneracion, Madel Go, Angel Anonuevo and Liezel Caranto. Produced by Jako Laureano and Jay-R Javier. The film is about a group of friends who are enjoying their highschool life. They're living in one dormitory except for one --- Jomar ( Marvin Sinque ), whom they forgot to show love and appreciation because of this terrible nightmares of reality happened and the loss of the entire group is its devastating result. They planned to have an outing and they forgot Jomar because he was late, for doing the group's school assignment. So Jomar was left alone and kuya Roy ( Kevin Nieto ) the school janitor was the only one there to comfort him. Christmas time is coming and they all made a wish, the wish of death. Antonette ( Angel Anonuevo ) asked for a make-up set. Santa put it on her bed and by the time she used it her face was destroyed and since she is self-obssesed and she can't accept it she resorted to suicide. The night of Antonette's death Cookie ( Kevin Caramancion )Antonette's bestfriend is beside her and the whole group blamed Cookie for this and he couldn't accept rejection, depressed he locked in his room and while he is sleeping Santa choked him using a stuff toy. until he died. His father Eric ( Ar-V Avendano ) blamed the dormitory's caretaker Miss Katie ( Marmy Cleto ) for the death of his son but it's too late. Everyone was shocked for what had happened and they all thought that it's the end. Leo ( Justin Campo ) is next in line, he was depressed bacause of Cookie's death and as well as Antonette's so he thought of taking a suicide but he just couldn't take it and planning to decline death but again it's too late for Santa is there and he is locked in the cabinet and died due to breathing problem and hunged using a belt, he wished for this. 3 consecutive school days had passed and Leo is not going to school they thought just because of his laziness he just don't like to go but until Sparky ( Madel Go ) noticed the smell of his dead body and soon find out that he's dead. Leo is the bestfriend and baby-like of Sparky so she couldn't take it and take a suicide using the one she wished for slimming pills obviously she died and her bestfriend Czarina ( Liezel Caranto ) was depressed but sooner learned to accept the fact that Sparky was dead. One cold night while she is playing the guitar alone, Santa killed her hitting her head with guitar and causing Czarina to bleed severely. Kim ( Pia Valenzuela ) was anxious because of this they were all being killed but she couldn't do anything but to pray since she was a text addict on the night of his boyfriend's anniversary Carlo ( Francis Leones ) or whom Kim used to call "Honeybebe" someone anonymous called her and threat her unfortunately at that moment she was on the stairs because her emotions is on its peak she accidentally flipped, head broken and died. The only crime survivor was next in the massacre puzzle Clifford ( Anthony Veneracion ) while singing on his magic mic was followed and chased by Santa luckily he was able to ask for help, Enzo ( Bryan Flores ) came and rescue him but Santa escaped but again it's too late Clifford is in the state of shock and no one can talk to him properly. Enzo, Tyron ( Angelo Querido ), Jules ( Jerome Serrano ), Clark ( Erjam Ninon ) and Nico ( Paolo Medina ) couldn't take it anymore and so was ready to leave the dormitory and left Miss Katie at the end Matt ( Chewie Orellana ) came back on to the dorm from a very long vacation and he thought that his friends was tripping him but reality bites Miss Katie stated the whole of events and told Matt to watch out for he might be the next. So Matt proceed the hospital where Clifford is resting but he couldn't get any information on to him because he is in the state of shock, so he just went to the National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes and prayed there, after he went home now here is where the climax will happen on the dormitory he found out that all his friends died due to their wish and sooner find out that wished for a hammer so he go to Miss Katie but she's already dead and at his back is Santa with a hammer and about to kill him. He ran upstairs and Santa still chased him but accidentally flipped and Santa hit his own head. After this, Matt found out that everything was just a dream and a total illusion. Thus in the end he learned to appreciate all of his friends.

Filming & Editing
Miss Mylene Regner filipino teacher for the 3rd year level assigned III-Reverence to make a teleplay --- a major requirement in the subject so the class was divided into two groups one is Group 1 --- Kuya and Group 2 --- Silent Night. Since the story was more of a house scene the cast find it hard at first to find a venue until they've decided to take Jay-r Javier's place and take 85% of the whole film there other venues were National Shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes where Matt prayed, Lourdes School of Quezon City High School Dept. where the group of friends were students and most especially the Resort of Jako where fun is at its peak. Yeah baby! :] The whole film was edited by Kevin Nieto and Rainier See the director as well. Splendid.
