Silat Bali is a defensive style of pencak silat from Bali, Indonesia. It is believed to have been influenced by Javanese styles after the fall of Majapahit in the 15th century, when there was an exodus of Javanese people to the island of Bali. Practitioners wear loose black pants and a black tunic combined with the Balinese headdress and sarong. In Bali there are two major organizations; Bakti Negara and Kertha Wisesa. From December 3-14, 2007, Kertha Wisesa and Satria Muda joined together to welcome leaders from around the world to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change in Nusa Dua. Their demonstration was themed "Fighting For Change".
