Sikh Hunters Football Club is an English semi-professional football club based in Walsall, West Midlands. They are currently members of the Division One and play at Long Lane. History The club was founded in 1964 as a Sunday league club, the brainchild of its three founder members, Bagicha Singh, Kernail Singh and Mohinder Singh, three men who had previously had the honour of playing for ‘Punjab Select’ in India. The club's first match was an exhibition match against a supporters club of Walsall FC. Through the late 1960s to late 1970s, most of their football was played in local Sunday leagues, where they spent a fairly successful six or seven years before transferring to Saturday leagues. The club have won the FA Charter Standard Award, an award that recognises clubs that are stable and well maintained with child protection and safety paramount. The 2017-18 season saw the club win the Division Two title, their first piece of silverware in over 30 years.
