'Sick Dude' is a very adaptable term and organization which can be applied with varying degrees to a type of lifestyle, a general outlook on things, and the type of activities one engages in. The type and degree of sickness that one can attain is at times without limits and entirely up to the decisions one makes. Because of the word 'Dude,' Sick Dudes are generally male, with the correct term for a female equivalent being a 'Sick Chick'.
The tone with which the term is spoken in reference to an individuals feats depends on the nature of the feats. In general, referring to someone as a 'sick dude' spoken quickly only implies acknowledgment that he is, in fact, a sick dude.
