Shuftipro is an artificial intelligence based identity verification and fraud prevention company based in United Kingdom, Cyprus, Sweden and Dubai.
History
In 2012, the Shuftipro founder, Shahid Hanif, was working as a developer at a financial institution where he was integrating KYC solution. The digitization of the project was only implemented after much delay and many failures. This resulted in the project eventually having been changed back to manual KYC.
In 2017, again, a KYC verification took a month to complete. This was identified as a major technological gap. Shahid Hanif started working on an AI-based KYC and AML company. This company was named as Shufti Pro and registered in October 2017.
Shuftipro has received coverage as a notable company in mainstream sources such as Forbes, Tech Globex, The Next Tech, and Hacker Noon among others.
