Shmay is a colloquial word commonly used in England particulary in the Liverpool. The word is used when the subject of conversation is riduclous or used randomly for comical purposes. The word 'Shmay' is more foundly used by young teenagers however it can directly be used by anyone. When using 'Shmay' you should ensure that it not mixed up with its common counterpart 'Aine' and this word really is only spoken out of digust or anger of someone or something. Examples of 'Shmay' used in everyday life: Jenny, Chole and Gemma are having a conversation with each other. Jenny: I went out with Paul last night. Gemma: Was he a good kisser? Chole: Yeah was he? Jenny: Omg he was the best! Chole: Doesn't his Mum work in the pub? Gemma: Hahaha Shmay! Yeah she does!
