SHI Mediwear

SHI Mediwear (also known as SHi) is a privately-owned provider of single-use garments for all over India and Nepal with headquartered in Delhi. SHI is synonymous with its motto 'STOP HOSPITAL INFECTIONS'. The slogan of SHI Mediwear is 'Do Not Become a Patient Yourself'. SHI is a large supplier of single-use impervious blood/ fluid repellent OT protection Apparel Sets. The Journey of the SHI is by inspiration from the articles in the which shows that 30% of deaths in the United Kingdom happen because of Hospital Acquired Infections. The presentation took place at the Sanskriti School, Chanakyapuri where around 300 teachers from various schools were present, which was organized by Interact Rotary District 3011.
History
SHI Mediwear was founded in July 2000 by Praveen Gulati with the name of Steril Medihelp Pvt. Ltd. in Motia Khan Karol Bagh Delhi.. The Date of Incorporation of the company was 08 June 2007 with its authorized share capital is Rs 4000000.00 and paid-up capital is Rs 3675440.00from RoC-Delhi. Get certified from ISO 13485:2006 and ISO 9000:2008.
Operations
SHI Mediwear is the regular supplier of its medical garments to the , All India Institutes of Medical Sciences, Appolo Hospital, Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre, Command Hospital, Global Hospital India and Medanta since 2006.
The Padma Bhushan awarded Aroon Purie, the India Today editor-in-chief wrote about SHI Mediwear in his magazine for the supplying of PPE Kits to and LNJP Hospital during the COVID-19 pandemic in Delhi. During the starting of Coronavirus in India, SHI stated the supply of PPE Kits and Cover Alls to the Government of India. The DRDO include SHI in the Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Body Coverall Certificate List and issued certificate on 15th May 2020.
