Shelli Yoder was the winner of the Miss Indiana pageant in 1992, and tied for the Preliminary Swimsuit Award in the 1993 Miss America Pageant. Her final standing in the was as 2nd Runner-Up.
Shelli Yoder was born and raised in Shipshewana, Indiana. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University, a Master of Science in Education from Indiana University, and a Master of Divinity degree from Vanderbilt University.
Shelli Yoder is, as of September 2005, Executive Director for the Eating Disorders Coalition of Tennessee (EDCT).
She is the author of a soon-to-be published book for young women about taking steps to empower themselves. She is in negotiations to become the host of a radio program promoting the mind, body and spirit wellness of women.
She lives in Nashville, Tennessee with her husband, Josh Perry, their daughter, Ivy, and son, Eden.
