Shelagh Watkins

Shelagh Watkins was born in Wigan and is a former pupil of Balshaw's CE High School, Leyland, Lancashire, UK. Shelagh has written two novels, Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine published in 2005, and The Power of Persuasion published in 2008. Her first novel, Mr. Planemaker's Flying Machine, was serialised on Preston FM community radio on the early morning programme, Chat City. As editor and publisher at Mandinam Press, Shelagh published the anthology of short stories and poems, Forever Friends, in September 2008.
One of the contributors to the anthology, Stories of Strength, Shelagh is currently compiling an anthology of short stories, Forever Christmas, to be published by Mandinam Press in 2010.
Shelagh lives in South Wales and is a member of ALCS (Authors' Licensing and Collecting Society).
