Sheikh Muhammed Jamiu Bulala

Sheik Muhammad Jamiu Bulala (born 1919) was a Nigerian Sufi Sheikh in Offa, Kwara State. He was known as Amir l aoliyah in Nigeria and beyond and in one of the excerpts from his speeches he referred to himself as 'Ghaouth Nigeria'.
The sheik is known for dressing modestly. The sheik was uneducated but came to be respected in his knowledge of Islam. He also spent time in khalwa (seclusion). He is known to have influenced Sheik Abdul Rasheed Nkrumah. He was known in Northern Nigeria where Islam is a dominant religion and Shariah law is practiced.
History
His father was pa Abdul Hakeem Akannmu Iji who hailed from popular Lagbedu family of Ogbomosho.
His father worked at the Nigerian Railways Corporation. Then Sheikh Jamiu started Quranci education from Sheikh Ismaila Jeje at ile Arogun. Sheikh Jamiu’s performance at the Quranic School was exceptionally excellent according to his Alta. Sheikh Jamiu had completed the Quran and left for IIorin for further studies in Sheikh Alfa Basheer Adangba’s IIE ikewu. Often Teacher say,"You have learned enough", or "you are blessed, nobody needs to teach you again". He says his teaches was helped by "Allah".
He was a great islamic patron during is time.
