Shawn Economaki, (born August 26, 1973), in Des Moines, Iowa, is the bassist of American band Stone Sour. He currently plays Fender American Vintage ‘57 Precision Basses. He also uses Ampeg SVT 4Pro heads and Ampeg 8X10 Cabinets. Outside of Stone Sour, he used to work for bandmates Corey Taylor and Jim Root's band, Slipknot, as stage manager and guitar technician and can be seen during the scene Set-Up on Slipknot's live DVD Disasterpieces and also in Of the (sic): Your Nightmares, Our Dreams where he is playing with a taser as well as taking a shot of dirty water.
