Dr. Shatanjiw Das Sharma is an Indian agriculture scientist. His area of specialization is rice genetics. Education and Personal Life S.D.Sharma went to college at Ravenshaw College, Cuttack and earned B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees, specializing in Botany. He then went on to earn a Ph.D. at the IARI Pusa Campus, New Delhi. S.D.Sharma married Usha Das Sharma in 1965 and they have three children.
