Shakti Singh (politician)

Shakti singh ( born 16th Oct, 1994 ) is the President of Delhi University Students Union (2019). Apart from being member of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad since 2016, he was selected as a vice president of delhi university students union ( 2016-17).
Shakti Singh was born to Mr. Vidya sagar singh & Mrs. Meena singh on ( 16th Oct 1994 ) at Mau. Shakti singh has an elder sister (sibling). His grandfather Shri. Babban Singh has been a member of legislative assembly 3 times.
Education
He completed his primary education upto 5th from Mau and 10th and 12th from Birla vidya mandir at Nainital. He completed his graduation from MIT college at Pune university B.com (2012-15) and after that shakti singh now studies at the Faculty of law, Delhi university. He is a Major and Notable Leader of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.
Political Career
Shakti singh won by 8500 votes in the elections of delhi university, After becoming the president of Delhi university on ( 21st August 2019 ) .He has got 3 idols installed overnight, of Veer Savarkar,Shaheed Bhagat Singh and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in delhi university.He took part in JNU's anti-nationalism event in the premises of Jawaharlal Nehru University, he was the prime mover and motivation to step-in as a student activist during the event. This event once again spath the nationalism debate across country, which was widely supported by renowned politician and nationalist leader Devendra fadnavis, Uddhav thackeray & honourable home minister Amit shah ji , prashant patel umrao, sunil devghar and Manoj Tiwari.
