Shahid M. Malik was born in October 1954 in Lahore, Pakistan. He is the Managing Editor of AsianOutlook.com 1995 Shahid M. Malik established what quickly became one of the largest online portals for international politics and Indian cinema, Asianoutlook.com. of Pakistan, whilst in exile in Saudi Arabia. Despite politics being his first love, Shahid also kept an interest in the Indian cinema industry, first introduced to him in the early 1990s by long-time friend and actor Gulshan Grover. With a European and American following Asianoutlook.com soon became a point of call for Indian movie fans worldwide. Shahid managed to secure several lengthy interviews with Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan. This was the beginning of a lengthy relationship with the Bollywood film industry. 2000s This turn of the century saw Shahid become a regular guest at the IIFA awards, developing an inner circle of investors and industry leaders, whilst he headed the Public Relations arm of PTV Prime UK. Until 2004 Shahid focused on in-depth and dynamic interviews with the likes of Tony Blair, Benazir Bhutto, Naomi Campbell, Jennifer Lopez, Danny Boyle, Shahrukh Khan, Anil Kapoor
