Seymur Nasirov

Seymur Rahim oghlu Nasirov (, born 1976) is a researcher-scientist, chairman of the Union of Diaspora Organizations of Azerbaijan in Egypt, laureate of the Taraggi Medal.
Biography
Seymur Nasirov was born in of Astara District in 1976. In 1994, he graduated from the Shuvi village A. Ibrahimov secondary school, in 1998 from the Baku Islamic University, and in 2002 from the Faculty of Islamic Studies and Arabic Language of the Al-Azhar University. In 2006, after four years of study at the Egyptian Fatwa Office, he was the first among the countries of the former USSR to be allowed to issue fatwas. In 2011, he completed his master's degree in Arabic language and literature at the American Open University in Cairo. The master's thesis was a study of the history of the study of Arabic language and literature in Azerbaijan.
In 2020, he completed his doctorate in Arabic language and literature at the American Open University in Cairo. The research topic was "Efforts of Azerbaijani scientists in the service of Arab science". S. Nasirov's scientific work was led by senior scientists invited from Al-Azhar University.
