Seraphine is a London based multinational maternity fashion retailer, founded by Parisian designer Cecile Reinaud.
In 2013 the brand gained worldwide attention when the Duchess of Cambridge Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge wore a Seraphine dress in the first official family photograph with Prince George
The Kate Effect
In 2013 the brand gained worldwide attention when the Duchess of Cambridge wore a pink Seraphine maternity dress in the first official family photograph with Prince George. The brand experienced ‘the Kate Effect’ first hand, and the pink Jolene dress sold out within 2 hours of the release of the pictures and gained a waiting list of over 2 months.
History
Seraphine was established in 2003 by Parisian Designer Cecile Reinaud.
The brand began with a single boutique on Kensington High Street in London. Over the next ten years, the business quickly expanded to include an online operation in the UK, France and the US, as well as a second London store in Hampstead, and a third recently opened on Marylebone High Street.
