Senior Management Team

Senior Management Team (or SMT) is a UK educational management term, usually referring to the top few people in a school's teaching staff.

These usually include:
*The Headmaster
*His Deputy/ies
*His Assistant(s) (Assistant Headteachers)
and often:
*Senior pastoral care staff

Synonyms include Senior Leadership Team or simply Leadership Team.
