Selva Pankaj

Selva Pankaj (born 20 August 1970) is a British entrepreneur originally from Sri Lanka. He is the CEO of Regent Group an independent education provider based in North West London, UK. He is also a non-executive board member at Bright Futures Educational Trust (BFET).
Career
He started his career as a Financial Accountant at Carlton Property Group in 1993. He then moved on to Prudential Financial in 1995 as an Accountant and left as the Deputy Finance in 2004. He later worked for several financial and investment companies including Schroders Property Investment Management, Rockspring Property Investment Managers, Grosvenor Property Fund Management and Fortress Investment Group. He has served as a lecturer at Westminster University and Hendon College, teaching professional finance courses. He had a dual career till 2009 when he took over Regent Group as its CEO.
Regent Group owns and runs a nursery, sixth form colleges, private tuition centres, higher and further education centres and a leadership academy.
Pankaj is also a consultant and guest speaker in Huete & Co.

Charity
Pankaj is a trustee of Selvanayagam Foundation, founded in memory of his late father, Selvanayagam. He is currently involved in educational projects in Sri Lanka through the Foundation.
He has launched an initiative, Harmony House on 15th February 2016 with the aim of reducing the risk of radicalisation and extremism.
Personal
Selva married Tharshiny Pankaj (Managing Director, Regent Group) in 1996 and they have two daughters. <ref name=cv/>
