Selected Hilarity

Selected Hilarity is an active group of comedians that collaborate on television, audio recordings, and books. As a live comedy troupe, they headlined over 300 shows in 35 different states, combining stand-up, sketch and improvisational comedy.
History
The group formed in 1990 while students at the University of North Carolina. They worked together on a UNC Student Television Production called "Off the Cuff". When actively touring nationwide, the group played mostly colleges and comedy clubs. They were twice nominated for Comedy Act of the Year by the National Association of Campus Activities and played the top comedy clubs across America, including The Comic Strip and Caroline's Comedy Club. Live performances combined stand-up routines, sketches penned by head writer Bryan Tucker, and original improvisational bits such as "Top of the Pops", which featured songs created on the spot. The group held its final live performance in 1997, but continue to collaborate on recordings live appearances, books and related entertainment projects.
