SecureMySocial is an American information security company that provides social media security technology. SecureMySocial was founded in 2014 by Joseph Steinberg, who is now the company’s CEO. It offers a "cloud-based system that notifies users in real time if they’re posting something inappropriate on social media," and is able to pick up questionable posts based on a mix of keyword searches and looking at the context. Its headquarters are in New York. SecureMySocial was first added to the cybersecurity industry's Cybersecurity 500 list in Q4 2016. In February 2016, Data Loss Prevention Software provider, Clearswift, announced that it was embedding SecureMySocial’s technology into its product suite. |
