SecuRegister is a multi-modal biometric system developed by Techno Brain for member identification, registration and enrollment. The system enables management of data and associated identity functions in a scalable, reliable and secure manner. This biometric system is flexible and can be configured for a wide range of populations and applications. It consists of multiple security features like Fingerprint/IRIS/Face recognition, tamper proof digital photo facilities, etc. This proven biometric platform connects a fingerprint scanner, webcam, document scanner and signature grabber and manages the multi-modal biometric processes of enrollment, identification and verification. Modules ===== * Enrollment Module ===== The enrollment module consists of a PC based or Wireless mobile handheld device for memeber enrollment function. Both forms of enrollment have advanced biometric features for secured enrollment. ===== * Verification & Identification Module ===== This module identifies and verifies every member. Verification is done either by getting the input data (PIN) and live fingerprint from the person and sending that template to AFIS for verification or by getting the data from smart card and verifying live fingerprint of the person.Identification is done by capturing the person's live fingerprint template and sending the template to AFIS for identification which results all the nearest possible matches of that fingerprint template. ===== * Issuance Module ===== Through Issuance module, personalized ID cards are issued to all the members. ===== * Field Verification Module ===== Using this module, random on-filed verification of citizens can be performed by the authorities using the mobile device. The system is pre-loaded with the required data from the central server. The mobile device contains a built-in matching algorithm for fingerprint verification and identification.
