The group of birds that make up Sczoloa are rare birds that belong to the group Fringillidae. They only live on off shore Islands from major islands, Hawaii, Maui, O'ahu, and Kauai. The live in less than a few miles of land. They look very similar to Akialoas, except for their coloring, living area, and slight changes in the genitic structure.
