Scriptdash is a private American company that operates ScriptDash Pharmacy which focuses on specialty and retail prescriptions in the San Francisco Bay Area.
History
ScriptDash was founded in June 2015 by Mattieu Gamache-Asselin, Jamie Karraker, and Vlad Blumen. None of ScriptDash's founders had previous experience in healthcare.
In June 2016, ScriptDash raised $6M in Series A round funding led by Jackson Square Ventures.
In November 2016, ScriptDash announced that Dr. Mike Cunningham joined the company’s Board of Advisors. Dr. Cunningham was most recently Vice President and General Manager, GPO Services, for McKesson Specialty Health, a business unit of the McKesson Corporation.
In early March 2017, Stanford Health Care announced that it had partnered with ScriptDash for "delivery of specialty and retail medications to the hospital and patients’ homes."
Distribution Model
In addition to a traditional retail store, ScriptDash also operates a courier fleet to deliver prescriptions directly to patient's home or workplace.
