Scott Mitic

Scott Mitic (born February 13, 1970) is a professional in the fields of consumer and credit advocacy. He is the author of a book on preventing identity theft, and has been quoted in the New York Times on the subject of insurance theft.
Background
Mitic grew up in Maryland and attended McGill University in Montreal, Canada and Georgetown University in Washington DC. He co-founded Headlight.com, an online learning company. In 2002, he became an executive at FICO, developing consumer credit score access services. Mitic founded the identity theft protection company, TrustedID, in 2006. That company was later acquired by Equifax.
