Scott Hetsko

Scott Hetsko (born June 12, 1970 in Scranton, Pennsylvania, US) is currently a meteorologist for WROC-TV News 8/Fox Rochester in Rochester, New York. Hetsko first became interested in weather during the Blizzard of 1978. Whale in college Hetsko worked for AccuWeather in State College, Pennsylvania producing radio forecast for station across the United States. After finishing his bachelor's degree in Meteorology from the Pennsylvania State University in 1999, Hetsko began working for WYOU in his hometown of Scranton. Later in December of 1999, Scott moved to Rochester, New York and began his job as Chief Meteorologist for WROC-TV News 8/Fox Rochester. He can be seen regularly on News 8 at 4, 5, 6, and 11 and also Fox First at 10.
Personal life
Hetsko is driven by his passion for weather, Scott's personal interests consist of golf and baseball (New York Yankees fan). He is married to his wife, Jennifer Hetsko (Deeb). The two of them have one son, Logan Edward Hetsko.

* Rated most accurate forecaster in 2009, 2010, and 2011 by WeatherRate, along with the other members of his weather team, Stacey Pensgen and John DiPasquale.
