Scott Cullather

Robert Scott Cullather (born May 24, 1964) is the Emmy Award-nominated founder and managing partner of inVNT, a live events agency. Cullather has gained recognition in the events industry through coverage in EXPO Magazine, Successful Meetings, , Association Trends, and other publications as well as presentations at ASAE Springtime Expo.
Career
Cullather’s interest in the event industry came from his father, who worked for Jack Morton Worldwide for 20 years before leaving to form Williams/Gerard Productions, Inc. with other former Jack Morton executives.
After graduating from the University of Richmond in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science degree in economics and business, Cullather worked for a year in the claims department at Colonial Parking in Washington, D.C. before going to work at Williams/Gerard. Cullather worked for 20 years at Williams/Gerard, eventually reaching the position of vice president and general manager.
Cullather was also the creative director and producer of AMC in Concert, a televised concert series broadcast on AMC. The program ran for two years and featured musical performances by the Cherry Poppin' Daddies, Gladys Knight, Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick, among others. The show including performances by Burt Bacharach and Dionne Warwick was nominated for an Emmy Award for Best Set Design.
In 2008, Cullather and other Williams/Gerard executives left to form inVNT, which has offices in New York City, Washington, D.C. and Jacksonville, Fla. In 2009, inVNT produced 55 events for clients.
Cullather regularly speaks at industry events including the Meeting Professionals International Mid Atlantic Conference & Exposition, ASAE Springtime Expo and events for the Association of Meeting Professionals. He has been published in several event industry magazines including EXPO Magazine, Successful Meetings, , Association Trends and .
