Scott Alexander Harris

Scott Alexander Harris, born June 14, 1956, is a professional broadcaster with over 30 years of employment by CBS Inc. in the Los Angeles market.
Educated at Sunnyvale, California public schools until 1971 and Los Angeles, California public schools from 1971 until graduating from Los Angeles' University High School in 1974, Scott earned a B.A. from UCLA in 1978.
After graduation from UCLA, Scott began his professional career in August 1978 in an entry level position with CBS Radio station KNX at Columbia Square, in Hollywood. One year later he was hired to be a production assistant for KNXT-TV, a CBS owned and operated television station (also located at Columbia Square). In July 1980, Scott was promoted to the position of staff broadcast engineer for KNXT-TV.
As a broadcast engineer Scott's responsibilities have touch upon nearly every facet of television production including News Cameraman, Audio Mixing, Studio Camera Operator, Master Control Supervisor and Technical Director.
