Scot lavalla

Scott Lavalla (born 4 July 1988 in Olympia, Washington) is a American-born American rugby union player.
Scott first started playing rugby at age 16. He went on to play for the Budd Bay Barbarians U-19 team and then the Pacific NW Loggers U-19. From there he caught the attention of the National U-19 Coaches and made the USA U-19 Team that competed in the Freedom Cup and IRB Junior World Cup. He came back in 2008 and captained the U-20 side that played in Ireland.

Scott graduated with honors from North Thurston High School in 2007. He is currently attending Trinity College in Dublin and enjoys reading, backpacking and mountain climbing. In high school, Lavalla was also an all-league and all-area football player.
The biggest obstacle that Scott had to face in regards to his playing career was when he fractured a vertebrae in his neck at the U-19 Dubai Junior World Cup.
