Savo Kostadinovski (; born May 30, 1950) is a Macedonian-German writer, travel writer and translator. He writes poetry and prose, for children, youth and adults, in Macedonian and German, and his works have also been published in Serbian and Romanian. Life and career His native village is Gornje Botušje, which is located near Makedonski Brod, in today North Macedonia. There and in and Gostivar he went to primary school. After the catastrophic earthquake in Skopje in 1963, he lived in Belgrade, Slavonski Brod, Zagreb and other places in the former Yugoslavia. He has lived and worked in Germany since 1971 - after Munich, Würzburg and Frankfurt am Main since 1973 in Cologne. By correspondence, he finished the high school of mechanical engineering at the Workers' University "New Belgrade", and in Cologne he acquired the title of technical engineer of the third degree. Kostadinovski has published books of poems, short stories, essays, translations and journalistic texts. His works have been published in several languages and represented in numerous anthologies, and poetry and prose for children in school textbooks in Northern Macedonia. Driven by a travel urge, he traveled through Europe, North America, Australia, India, Tibet, China and Senegal. Savo Kostadinovski is a member of the Writers' Association of Macedonia, Association of Writers of Germany, Association of Literary Translators of Macedonia and Association of Journalists of Macedonia.
