Savitri Ramyarupa (born April 7, 1960) is Managing Director of Chatrium Hotels & Residences which she co-founded with her brother Mr. Chali Sophonpanich, with the group being named after Mr. Chatri Sophonpanich, their father and the Chairman of Bangkok Bank. Education Master of Business Administration from Sasin Graduate Institute of Business Administration of Chulalongkorn University and Bachelor of Economics from Barnard College, Columbia University, United States. Career Savitri commenced operations with Chatrium Hotels & Residences in 2008 with the opening of 2 properties beside Bangkok’s Chao Phraya River, Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok with 396 rooms and suites and Chatrium Residence Riverside Bangkok. Personal life Savitri is the daughter of Mr. Chatri Sophonpanich, Chairman of Bangkok Bank and the granddaughter of Mr. Chin Sophonpanich, the Founder of Bangkok Bank. She is the sister of the President and Director of Bangkok Bank Mr. Chartsiri Sophonpanich and is married to Mr. Nopadol Ramyarupa, Managing Director of Asia Cement Plc. Savitri has one son and two daughters.
