Biography
Savannah was born on 29 December 2010 at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital. She was the first child of Peter Phillips and Autumn, the first grandchild of Anne, Princess Royal and her first husband Mark Phillips, and the first great-grandchild of Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Savannah's birth was announced on 30 December 2010 in an official press release. Her middle names, Anne and Kathleen, are the first names of her paternal grandmother, Anne, Princess Royal, and maternal grandmother, Kathleen "Kitty" Kelly. Like her father and aunt, Savannah does not carry a title. Through her mother, Savannah holds dual citizenship with Canada; she is the first person in the line of succession to the British throne for whom this is true.
Savannah's younger sister and only sibling, Isla Elizabeth, was born on 29 March 2012.
In the spring of 2016, a photograph was released of Savannah alongside her great-grandmother Queen Elizabeth II, her younger sister Isla, and several other young members of the royal family: Lady Louise Windsor, James, Viscount Severn, Mia Tindall, and Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge. Taken by Annie Leibovitz in Windsor Castle, the photograph was taken in commemoration of the Queen's 90th birthday.
While Savannah has largely remained out of the public eye, she has attended a number of royal family events with her parents and sister. She was present on the Buckingham Palace balcony for the latter part of the Trooping the Colour ceremonies in 2017 and 2018 and has attended Christmas church services at St. Mary Magdalene Church in Sandringham, Norfolk with members of the royal family.
In October 2018, Savannah served as a bridesmaid at the wedding of her father's cousin Princess Eugenie, alongside her sister Isla, her cousin Mia Tindall, and her second cousins Prince George and Princess Charlotte of Cambridge.
