Satyajeet Tambe

Satyajeet Sudhir Tambe Patil from Ahmednagar district of Maharashtra, is an Indian Youth Congress Leader, who works for Youth Empowerment and is also passionate about Urban Development and International Politics. He is a promising youth leader from Maharashtra.
Career
Satyajeet Tambe started his political career as a Students leader in 1999 ,He started his career as District Vice-President of NSUI and left NSUI as Vice-President of Maharashtra State NSUI. After getting promoted in Youth Congress, Satyajeet was appointed as General Secretary of Maharashtra State Youth Congress. In 2011 Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi initiated an internal election system in Indian Youth Congress and NSUI. Satyajeet contested this election and got elected as the Vice President of Maharashtra State Youth Congress first in 2012 and again for the second term in 2014. He was elected as Member of the Zilla Parishad, Ahmednagar in 2007 and 2012 ( elected for first & second term on Indian National Congress ticket). Satyajeet was defeated by Mrs.Shalini Vikhe , a rebel congress candidate and wife of Radhakrishna Vikhe Patil in the election of President , Zilla Parishad. He was also the Member of the Board of Governors, Nehru Yuva Kendra, Govt of India (2009-2014). He also contested Maharashtra Assembly election in 2014 from Ahmednagar constituency but lost by marginal votes.

Satyajeet is Managing Trustee of Gramodaya Educational Trust, which has educational institutes in field of Medical, Dental, Engineering, Management, Architecture and also runs ICSE school The Academy School in Pune.
