Satish Chandra (born 10 December 1967) is Ex. State Disability Commissioner, Government of Jharkhand, India. Career * State Disability Commissioner, Government of Jharkhand, September 2007. Events National Institute of Empowerment of Persons with Multiple Disabilities invited Satish Chandra, the State disability commissioner to Chennai for a special lecture in the year 2016. Tata Steel two days workshop on garnering livelihood opportunities was inaugurated by the State disability commissioner Satish Chandra in the year 2021. Controversy Satish Chandra, the state disability commissioner written and sent a letter to (JPSC) Jharkhand Public Service Commission in the year 2020 asking the (JPSC) to clarify why people from another category were chosen for persons with disabilities (PWD) allocated seats. Satish Chandra, the State disability commissioner has written and sent a letter to the government in the year 2019 to start 300 seat residential schools for the intellectually impaired people in Ranchi, Dumka, and Jamshedpur in the next fiscal. Satish Chandra, the State disability commissioner has written and sent a letter to the Vice-Chancellor of DSPMU in the year 2020 asking to take post-investigation action in the negligence of disabled people. Satish Chandra, the State disability commissioner has said "To meet the RTE provisions, should recruit at least 15,000 teachers who are specially-trained for the 1.5 lakh intellectually impaired students."
