Sasha Gebler (born May 1957) is the youngest son of screenwriter, playwright and novelist Ernest Gebler and Irish novelist Edna O'Brien. His older brother is the Irish writer Carlo Gébler. Sasha Marcus Alaric Gebler is a founding partner of Gebler Tooth, a commercial RIBA chartered architectural practice based in London SW13. He was educated at Bedales School and read Architecture at Cambridge University where his disertation was on the subject of the British Arts & Crafts architectural movement. Gebler's work is highly fashionable, and while largely ignored by critics and learned journals, his clubs, cinemas and restaurants are longstanding favourites of many of the world's most succesful stars such as Lady Gaga and David and Victoria Beckham, who are frequently photographed on entry and exit. Unlike most contemporary architects, Sasha Gebler draws his plans in graphite by hand, and his finely rendered drawings are due to be published in a Thames & Hudson book in 2018. His notable work includes all the original restaurants and clubs for the Soho House chain, the Theo Fennell flagship store, San Lorenzo restaurant, Team GB House at the London 2012 Olympics, a London home for Kirsty Young and Nick Jones, offices for Working Title Films the Electric Cinema Bar & Grill and Cecconis in London and Los Angeles. Personal Life Sasha Gebler is married and has one son.
