Sarfo Twumasi Bernard

Sarfo Twumasi Bernard (born August 13, 1997), known by his programming name DevSarfo, is a Ghanaian programmer. He is the founder of the software development company DevSarfo Solutions, which develops and maintains computer software and also founded a web development company Sarfo Web Solutions
Together with his fellow Bohye 95.3 FM employees Kwadwo Opoku Agyemang and Oppong Kingsley, he launched MyAir Radio Automation.
The group then introduced MyAir to other companies.
Early life
DevSarfo was born in 1997 in Kumasi, Ghana. He is the son of Charlotte and sound engineer Kwame Sarfo. He and his four siblings, Francisca, Stephen, Mark, and Adelaide, were brought up in Asokwa, Kumasi, a sub-metro suburban area and gold-diamond mining community town in Kumasi Metropolitan, the capital of Ashanti with an interchange the Asokwa Interchange.
Software developer
Early years
DevSarfo began using computers and writing software in primary school. His father hired software developer, Kwabena to tutor him privately. He enjoyed developing computer programs, especially communication tools and websites. In one program, since he likes communication, he built a software program he called "ChatPro" that users to communicate with a pre-created user.
During DevSarfo's senior high school years, he learned website development from his senior named "Fourteen" as well as computer hardware from his school father "Sin".
He built his first website called the Corporate Entrepreneurs that served as a homepage for a company in Accra.
College years
By the time he began classes at GTUC, DevSarfo had already achieved a "reputation as a programming prodigy". He studied information technology as well as belonging to TECHSA. In his second year, he wrote a program he called GTUC Market, which allowed users to post classifieds and also to help them find selling items online.
The following semester, in January 2016, DevSarfo began writing code for a new website. In early 2016, DevSarfo launched "Fox 97.9 FM Online", located at fox979fm.com as well as "TheHotSpotGH" and "Africasell.com".
DevSarfo is in his final year yet to complete degree at GTUC.
Career
Sikka 89.5 FM and Bohye 95.3 FM
DevSarfo worked at Sikka 89.5 FM and Bohye 95.3 FM as web developer and Systems Administrator from March, 2013 - May, 2014 and May 2014 till now respectively.
He was responsible for:
* Ongoing design and maintenance of new and existing websites.
* Liaising closely with a customer or client at the design stage.
* Designing landing pages and also email addresses.
* Promotion of websites both organically and using Google Adwords.
* Interacting with designers, programmers, and clients.
* Creating content that converts visitors to purchasers.
* Enhancing the look, functionality, and appearance of a website.
* Fixing problems encountered in the functioning of the website.
* Designing websites that are easy and effective to use.
* Designing web campaigns for online initiatives, editorials, emails & banners.
* Building affiliate white-labels websites, promotional banners & creative material.
* Testing websites for functionality in different browsers & at different resolutions.
Freelance Software Developer
DevSarfo worked at various technology jobs and start-up firms in Kumasi, at Accra, and in Sunyani. He has now eventually become an independent contractor writing computer code, leading to freelance opportunities with companies including Silver FM.
