Sarah Hansen

Sarah Hansen is a performance artist from Albuquerque, New Mexico. She made her first appearance onstage in a local theatrical production of the Sound of Music at age six, playing the character of Marta. She has gone on to star in two television commercials and has been featured in nineteen stage productions. Her most high profile role was in the 1998 film “Lost in Space” starring William Hurt, the cult classic based on the beloved 1960’s television program. Sarah has been the recipient of numerous awards, most notably the 2003 Arts Alliance Bravos Award for excellence in theatre. In addition to her successful acting career, Sarah is a passionate advocate for animal rights and dedicates much of her time and money to the Animal Protection of New Mexico NPO, as well as volunteering regularly at local animal shelters. Sarah has six cats. Someday she hopes to put a stop to all cougar hunting within the continental United States.
