Sarah Hamilton (voice actor)

Sarah Hamilton is an American actor. She is the voice of April Ryan in the videogame The Longest Journey, and its sequel, Dreamfall.
Hamilton was cast as the English voice of April Ryan, protagonist of The Longest Journey, a PC adventure game by Ragnar Tornquist. The dialogue was recorded in studio over ten consecutive days. In 2002, Hamilton was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), and in 2004, salivary gland cancer. In 2013 it was confirmed that Hamilton would work on the sequel to The Longest Journey and Dreamfall, Dreamfall Chapters. In 2014, she was injured, underwent surgery and experienced a relapse in MS symptoms, and sought assistance with her medical bills.
Hamilton attended the Tisch School of the Arts of New York University. She has served on the Board of Statement Arts, a New York non-profit organization.
