Sara Woodhatch is a film producer based in London, whose latest film Before Midnight premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in January 2013. Life and career Born in London, of Anglo-Italian heritage, Woodhatch attended St Paul's Girls School in London. She then went on to study Art, Archaeology and History of Art at UCL and SOAS. She also studied at the London Film Academy. After graduating, Woodhatch made the short film Justice in Mind with Barney Clay which was BAFTA nominated. She went on to become a Company Executive of Simian Films, with Hugh Grant and Elizabeth Hurley, which had a First-Look Deal with Castle Rock Entertainment and a Second-Look Deal with Nigel Sinclair and Guy East's Intermedia. A veteran of romantic comedy productions, Woodhatch's credits as assistant include: Notting Hill; Woody Allen's Small Time Crooks; Bridget Jones Diary; About A Boy; Love Actually; and Did You Hear About The Morgans. Woodhatch produced Richard Linklater's Before Midnight which was acquired by Sony Pictures Classics at the Sundance Film Festival 2013 . It was also screened at the Berlinale and Austin's South by Southwest She is currently producing under the Faliro House banner. Other Woodhatch works with Marie Curie Cancer Care; Macmillan Cancer Support; Health Talk Online; is an ambassador for Too Many Women; and has helped with Elton John's AIDS foundation's White Tie & Tiara annual ball.
