Sanjib Sahoo

Sanjib Sahoo is the Chief Information Officer (CIO) of XPO Logistics, Inc. and has responsibility for the technology groups that support the company’s North American transport organization in the areas of truck brokerage, intermodal, last mile, expedite and freight forwarding.
Prior to joining XPO Logistics, Sanjib was the Chief Information Officer (CIO) (2009-2015) for the online retail options and stock broker Aperture Group LLC (owner of OptionsHouse formerly known as tradeMONSTER). As the former CIO, Sanjib oversaw software development, quality assurance, production support and hardware, network infrastructure, and was a member of the senior executive team.
Prior to joining tradeMONSTER Group in 2006, Sanjib worked with financial systems at Deutsche Bank, Charles Schwab, and Citibank. Recognized as one of the Most Innovative CIOs by CIO Magazine. Sanjib has won several industry awards, most recent being named an honoree of Computerworld’s 2015 100 Premier IT Leaders award,
Background
Sanjib came from humble beginnings in India and frequently shares his journey of taking risks, fearless attitude in his TED talk at TEDx, His journey from a small town in India to one of the top industry technology leaders in USA was covered in Daily Herald “From India to Naperville CTO keeps innovating.” He was born in Haldia, West Bengal and did his schooling at Narendrapur Ramakrishna Mission, West Bengal. He did his bachelors in Economics from Kolkata University and his post graduation from Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad.
