San Remo Summer Course

The San Remo Summer Course on International Humanitarian Law is a two-week program taught by the International Institute of Humanitarian Law, an independent, non-profit humanitarian organisation.
Programme
The course takes place over a period of 2 weeks, the last 3 days being spent in Geneva, Switzerland. The working language is English and there are a maximum of 60 places available.
Experts from all over the world give lectures and lead workshops in the San Remo portion.
In Geneva, meetings with top ranking officials and experts will be organised at the United Nations Office in Geneva (UNOG) and the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC). A visit to the Museum of the Red Cross and Red Crescent will also be arranged.
Participants are awarded a certificate of participation.
The possibility for those who are interested in prologing their stay either in Sanremo or Geneva to study a specific subject jointly agreed upon can be explored under certain conditions.
