Samuel Lodato (born 28 March 1987 Catania, Sicily) is a contemporary novelist. Bio He attended Highbury Grove School in North London, obtaining ten GCSE’s, studied latin and was selected for the gifted & talented group. By the time he got to college he’d grown fond of photography as well as cinema, expressing an interest in writing for the latter. At 18, Samuel dropped out of university before the second semester of his English course was fully underway, in order to more closely concentrate on his writing. At the age of twenty he was accepted for publication. As his literary influences he cites Kafka, Bukowski, Kerouac and Thompson, but it would be the work of pulp sci-fi novelist Philip K Dick - in particular Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? - that would impel him to pick up the pen. Bibliography Novels * The Places and People Between London & Sicily (2009) * Factory Sealed (2010 - upcoming)
