Salvatore Brocato

Salvatore Brocato (1879 - 1960) was a Caporegime in the Bufalino crime family, Brocato was also a Faction leader for the family operating in New Jersey.
Early life & American dream
Brocato was born in Italy on 1879 in Cefalu. Brocato's parents died before his 5th birthday, Brocato lived with his grandparents until his teens. Brocato dreamed of America since an early age, His grandad would tell him many stories at night about America. Brocato's dream came true and moved on 1906 aged 27.
Criminal Career & Marriage
Brocato worked at a Butcher shop, A famous blackhand demanded a certain amount of money a week, Brocato refused, The Blackhand liked his wiseness and got him a job stealing & counterfeiting. Brocato later worked for Italian criminal masterminds. Brocato married Josephine Maladonna on 1923 aged 44, They had 7 children, Anthony (1919) Minnie (1924) Peter (1915) Grace (1929) Vincent (1935) Margarette (1935) and Catherine (1938).
Bufalino Family
Brocato started working for John Sciandra on 1935.
Death
Brocato was a heavy smoker at the near end of his life. Brocato then was told he had lung cancer, Brocato died the next week.
