Saleem Mohammed (; born 5 September 1968) is a former English cricketer. Saleem was a right-handed batsman. He was born at Peterborough, Cambridgeshire. He played the majority of his club cricket for Peterborough Town CC in the Northants Premier League but he also played at Winchmore Hill CC in the Middlesex Premier League. He represented Hunts and Peterborough CC at U19 level, and whilst at University also played for England Universities. Mohammed made his debut for Cambridgeshire in the 1994 Minor Counties Championship, making his debut in that competition against Bedfordshire. From 1994 to 2004, he represented the county in 34 Minor Counties matches. He also represented the county in 19 MCCA Knockout Trophy matches, with his final match for Cambridgeshire in that competition coming against Northumberland. Mohammed also represented Cambridgeshire in List-A cricket, making his debut in that format of the game in the 1994 NatWest Trophy against Hampshire. He represented Cambridgeshire in 6 List-A matches from 1994 to 1999, with his final List-A match coming against the Netherlands in the 1999 NatWest Trophy. In his 6 List-A matches, he scored 36 runs at a batting average of 6.00, with a high score of 14. Family His twin brother Nadeem also represented Cambridgeshire as well as the Middlesex Cricket Board. Currently residing in Australia where he works as an Emergency doctor.
