Saintmoses Eromosele

Saintmoses Eromosele is a Nigerian playwright, poet, prolific writer and social critic.
Born in Benin City on April 20, 1978 to parents who migrated from Ewu in Esanland, Saintmoses Eromosele wrote his first book, a novela entitled, The Winds of Life, at an early age of sixteen and while still a secondary school student at Edokpolor Grammafr School, Benin City. The book, re-published by Ambik Press, Benin City, in 2003, has since become very popular among young adults in Nigeria, especially in Edo State where the 116 page novela has remained in the Junior School Certificate Examination (JSCE) Curricculum since 2004. Saintmoses Eromosele has a daughter, Happi Eromosele, out of wedlock. In 2005, his unpublished poetry anthology, The Niger, My Laments and his unpublished play, The Loverboy and the Jewel were joint-winners of the 14th annual literature prize organized by the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA) Oyo State, Ibadan.
