Saddleworth is the smallest full Freeview Transmitter. It no longer transmits Analog television due to the Digital Switchover.
It also Transmits BBC Radio 1,2,3 and four, aswell as BBC Radio Manchester and the local independent Radio Station Key 103 FM.
It is a Television Reley station of Winter Hill in Bolton, and a Radio Relay Transmitter of Holme Moss.
Reception Coverage
The low lying Villages of Saddleworth don't have a view of the Main Station Winter Hill, as Wharmton is blocking the path. As it deflects a large area, It is a Full Freeview Transmitter. Oldham and Manchester City Center are all covered by the transmitter however this is usally not accomplished as Winter Hill is in there line of Site.
