Ruusu Hiao Jun

Ruusu Hiao Jun (b. 1985) is a Japanese ballerina. Jun was born in Chiba, Japan on 12 June 1985. Her father is Chinese and her mother is Japanese. She moved to Tokyo at the age of 7 and discovered her love for dance. She was taken to England with her grandmother in 1992. Her first role was of a backup dancer in a school dance show in the same year.
Later on, Jun entered London School of Dance, and continued to teach there until she moved back to Chiba. In interviews, Jun has stated she started a club called Watashi tachi dansu, loosely translated as We Dance, where the members would dance down the streets of the residential areas of Chiba. This received positive feedback, and Watashi tachi dansu started performing in front of huge audiences in Tokyo, Osaka, and Hong Kong. They also made their own YouTube channel and have over 90,000 subscribers.
In the early 2000s, the group put the following message up:

Dear all subscribers,
Sadly, Makoto-chan and Yuko-chan have left the group.
Akira-san and I have come to the decision that we will no longer be performing as a group.
We are now in our 20s, and it seems we should focus on new things in life.

Exactly three years later, rumors were spread that Jun had finished re-studying ballet at Tokyo Dance School. She was interviewed on TV TOKYO the same week, and fans were re-starting their fan websites rapidly. Later that year, Jun started dancing solo on YouTube. She was eventually encouraged to become a professional, and so she was offered many jobs. In the end, the auditioned by herself to Tokyo Royal Ballet.
