The Russia Moscow Mission is a Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The mission headquarters is in Moscow and services missionaries and Church members in Moscow, Nizhniy Novgorod, Yaroslavl, and the country of Kazakhstan. History Gary Browning's book "Russia and the Restored Gospel" gives a history of the mission while he was the first mission president. September 10, 2002, then-president of the Church Gordon B. Hinckley spoke to Church members in Moscow in the Cosmos Hotel. It was the first time a president of the Church traveled to Moscow.
