Rufus Davis

Rufus Davis (born March 6, 1974) was elected as the first African-American male to become mayor of the city of Camilla, Georgia. He was elected over the incumbent, Vernon Twitty, on November 3, 2015. He is a former Wall Street executive and worked in the education sector. He graduated with distinction from the University of Michigan and also holds a Juris Doctor from Rutgers School of Law where he received the top award for real estate. He also served as the only African-American vice president at The Princeton Review and as director of operations at Planform Learning, a supplemental educational services provider.
