Rucker Rule

Origins
The "Rucker Rule" was a term coined by fans of the University of Tennessee Vols on the GVX247 Message boards in 2010 and relates to one of the writers for 247 Sports, Wes Rucker. The "Rucker Rule" states that whenever Wes Rucker leaves Knoxville whether for business or a vacation, big news will happen at the University of Tennessee. This was most recently proven on June 15 2011, when UT hired Dave Serrano as its new Baseball coach replacing Todd Raleigh . When this rule was brought up today on the GVX247 boards, Wes himself said "Let there be no doubt." in response to the Rucker Rule being discussed.
Rucker's Take
Wes himself has embraced the existence of the "Rucker Rule" stating on his Twitter account on June 15 the following: "Tomorrow's 2 p.m. press conference will happen when I'm in Nashville. #RuckerRule today, #RuckerRule tomorrow, #RuckerRule forever."
